  13.        bbiinn//ttiiffff22ffaaxx takes TIFF input and generates a TIFF Class    F
  14.        image  file  suitable  for  facsimile transmission.  It is
  15.        usually    invoked     by  the   _H_y_l_a_F_A_X   scheduler     process,
  16.        _f_a_x_q(${MANNUM1_8}).   The  default implementation uses the
  17.        _t_i_f_f_c_h_e_c_k(${MANNUM1_8}) program and tools from the  freely
  18.        available TIFF software distribution to implement the con
  19.        version operations.

  22.        The following operations    are recognized:

  24.        --11     Write Group 3    1D-encoded  data  to  the  output
  25.          file.
  26.  
  27.        --22     Write    Group  3  2D-encoded  data  to the output
  28.          file.

  30.        --mm _p_a_g_e_s     Set the maximum number    of pages that are permit
  31.          ted  in the output file.  If more pages are pre
  32.          sent in the input document then  abort     process
  33.          ing.

  35.        --oo _f_i_l_e     Write    output    to  the    specified _f_i_l_e instead of
  36.          the default ffoooo..ttiiff filename.

  38.        --ww _w_i_d_t_h     Set  the  output  page     _w_i_d_t_h,     in  pixels.   By
  39.          default, pages    are 1728 pixels    wide.

  41.        --ll _l_e_n_g_t_h Set  the  output page _l_e_n_g_t_h in millimeters.  By
  42.          default, pages    are 297    millimeters long.

  44.        --rr _v_r_e_s     Set the vertical resolution, in  lines/inch,  at
  45.          which to image    the POSTSCRIPT.
